International Network
The Hague is an international city in which there are a myriad of personal and professional opportunities for newly arrived internationals, seasoned ones, as well as the local community. Finding the most suitable network to support your goals may not be straightforward. Knowing where to start when you arrive, not clear.
Deborah is a natural networker – something which was recognized when she was awarded the WBII Entrepreneurial Initiative Award for 2009 Networker of the Year. “She is generous in connecting people in a meaningful and authentic way and will succeed because networking is a way of life for her, not an event or a transaction.”
Below, a selection of contacts from Deborah’s network – see her “Writing Samples” page for additional ones:
- Womens Business Initiative International – an incubator & network for female entrepreneurs – international & national. Meets for regular networking events a Carlton Ambassador Hotel in The Hague. See website for details.
- Connecting Women – a network for professional and internationally aware women
- The BIEB – Benoordenhout International Expat Borrel - informal gathering of internationals in Benoordenhout. For more information use the Contact Form.
- AlleTonenTafels - regular gatherings for new immigrants in which language skills can be practiced.
- THIN – The purpose of The Hague International Network is to establish a social environment where a diverse international group of professionals can benefit by having the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas, discuss various topics of interest, as well as, develop new business contacts. The reason for the gatherings is more social in nature and less business-oriented. The Hague International Network is a place for the international community to meet and develop relationships of all kinds. Next meeting 21 June 2010 at New Babylon, The Hague.
